Causes of Shoulder Fiber Tear – Injury!

One of the most common complaints of patients who come to the orthopedic outpatient clinic for joint pain for shoulder fiber tear problem is the shoulder joint. The shoulder joint is a joint that can move 360 degrees, where many fibers come together in the body and create movement. This 360-degree movement is achieved through a tremendous fiber coordination. Injury to these fibers is more vulnerable to injury than other joints in our body.

Shoulder pain or shoulder pain that does not go away is divided into two according to age group. The causes of shoulder pain in the elderly and shoulder pain in young people are different. Tears may occur due to the deterioration of the fiber in its own structure due to aging called rotator cuff. This manifests itself not only as shoulder pain, but also as the inability to take your hand to your mouth, the inability to take your hand to your head, and the inability to work with your hand above your head. But usually patients consult a doctor with complaints of night pain and inability to lie on the shoulder.

The most important warning and determining factor in shoulder pain is whether the pain responds to painkillers when the patient uses painkillers. The return of pain after the painkillers have worn off is also an important symptom. Another type of shoulder pain is rupture – injury of the shoulder girdle fibers seen in young people. It is a shoulder fiber tear injury that occurs when an injury occurs in young people who play sports over their heads, such as basketball and volleyball.

Not only those who do sports, but also movements such as wiping shelves over the head with the hand, placing heavy objects on the shelves will cause tearing and injury to the shoulder fibers around the belt of hope. When the fibers in the belt are injured, the pain will occur mostly at night. Although daytime pain can also occur, more nighttime pain is a sign of fiber injury.

When there is a bony problem, impingement syndrome and accordingly, the compression in the region, which we call suprasipinatus, especially when the position provides the first 15-20 degrees of movement, will cause injury and tear on this fiber.
